When
you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? An
explorer, sailing the seven seas? An Egyptian pharaoh? A
firefighter? On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, spend a little time
measuring your satisfaction with your current career (whether or
not it's the one you planned on as a child) against those
childhood dreams. How does it compare? Is it less exciting, but
more stable? Are there fewer hoses, less water and no red
trucks, but more paperwork? Fewer pyramids, but better health
insurance? It never hurts to take a look at adult life through
your childhood eyes -- maybe you'll spot something you missed in
the course of the daily grind. On the 18th, if you had an
insight into how to bring more magic to your work, make it
happen. By the 14th or perhaps the 16th, you already see a
difference (and you love it!). On the 20th, get creative, and by
the 25th, your creativity is generating an excitement and
momentum you may not have experienced since you were a kid. On
the 30th, take a break from implementing and go back to
recollecting. Is there anything else you remember?
